Stomach settler (see blog ’Fed up with your tummy troubles’)

Pineapple, ginger and lemon are great to settle and help digestion. Why not try this tasty smoothie for breakfast or lunch or on those days when your tummy feels not quite right! 

Serves 1


  • 1 carrot, 
  • 1 pear, 
  • 2 thick slices of fresh pineapple, 
  • juice of half a lemon, 
  • 1/4 tsp fresh root ginger


  1. Wash the carrot, pear and ginger thoroughly (so no need to peel)
  2. Put all ingredients into a blender, NutriBullet or equivalent
  3. Blend for 15-30 seconds depending on how smooth you want your smoothly to be!
  4. Drink within 1 hour of making
