Fruit & Nut Energy balls

Makes 12 small or 6 large

  • 100g mixed nuts
  • 25g porridge oats
  • 100g mixed dried fruit
  • heaped tsp ground ginger


  1. Use a food processor to chop the nuts and oats so they are like breadcrumbs
  2. Add the mixed fruit and ground ginger and chop until the fruit pieces are small and the mixture is starting to come together (this takes about 2 mins)
  3. Add up to a dessert spoon of water to help the mixture bind together
  4. Form into balls
  5. Chill in fridge for 1 hour to help them set
  6. These energy balls will last up to a week in the fridge.
